Our project visualises the rhythms of human biology by using data from blinks, pulse, and heartbeats per minute. Each element—blinks, pulse, and heartbeats—is represented by a unique shape: squares, triangles, and stars, respectively. We use these shapes in combination with color to express individuality, assigning orange for Shaz, green for Mia, and white for Shun Yi. Each person's data animates in real time, with the shapes pulsing, rotating, or expanding to reflect the tempo and intensity of their beats. This fusion of shape, color, and rhythm transforms raw biometric data into a dynamic and personal visual experience, highlighting both the uniqueness and shared essence of human patterns.

Experiment 1 was both a challenge and a delight, blending moments of confusion with excitement. Diving into p5.js, we explored the visual potential of our data, and each discovery felt like uncovering a hidden rhythm within our individual patterns. We began with a minimal approach, using thin strokes to create a light, airy quality for each element, allowing the data itself to take center stage. By incorporating our unique colors — white for Shun Yi, orange for Shazlyn, and green for Mia — we created a cohesive, unified look that balanced individuality with harmony. Seeing our personal data come alive on screen, each shape and line pulsing in sync with our rhythms, was both surreal and inspiring.
